McCree General Contractors & Architects was hired once again by the Orlando Science Center to complete several renovations to the well-known Central Florida attraction. These design-build renovations include classrooms, a new concession stand, an elevator extension, and a new flight simulation lab exhibit. Each space was designed to create new exhibits to fit today’s needs and to provide a new experience for its guests. The spaces are located throughout the Science Center, providing a need for special coordination of construction activities to allow the Science Center to remain in operation and allowing its guests to continue to enjoy the exhibits and activities it offers.

Tom Doolittle, PM, took extra special care to ensure dust, noise and daily construction activities did not interfere with the Science Center’s operations.
