City of Orlando Fire Station #7
601 Goldwyn Ave, Orlando, FL 32801
Project Description
Orlando Fire Station #7 was designed and built according to the prototype criteria of five eco-friendly fire stations designed for the City of Orlando. It features subtle architectural elements to meet development criteria and mimic the style of the surrounding neighborhood. This fire station was equipped with standard truck bays large enough to accommodate modern fire truck models. The station also includes offices, sleeping quarters, and a high-tech kitchen. In addition to all these other aspects, the Orlando Fire Station #7 also incorporates many energy-efficient design elements. It is one of Orlando’s first LEED-certified building projects, and it highlights McCree’s dedication to the highest standards.
This fire station was completed on time and on budget, exceeding the city’s expectations for value and quality. Self-performance was approximately 10%.
