McCree was commissioned to design and construct the Oviedo Veterinary Care & Emergency Clinic, an 8,000-square-foot, 24-hour emergency animal hospital in Oviedo, strategically located on a 2-3 acre parcel at the intersection of Church and 436. This comprehensive project required meticulous planning to meet the diverse needs of a modern veterinary facility. The client’s specifications included two surgical suites, examination rooms, an X-ray/CAT scan room, a dental suite, and various procedure areas. Additionally, the facility needed an isolation room, separate recovery areas for cats and dogs, a pharmaceutical lab, a reception area, a bereavement room, sleeping quarters, a full bathroom, multiple additional bathrooms, a break room, offices, a conference room, a kennel area, extra-wide corridors, ample parking, and provisions for future growth.

The construction employed McCree’s proprietary pre-cast wall system and a structural steel roof, ensuring durability and strength. The modern design features industrial elements with abundant natural lighting, enhancing comfort and efficiency for both staff and animal patients. State-of-the-art equipment, including a natural gas generator, underscores the commitment to creating a cutting-edge medical environment.
