McCree likes to bring our team approach of building to every project we do. That is especially true with the construction management delivery method. CM work is very similar to design/build in that the architect and the contractor are involved in the project together very early on. However, there are still two separate contracts between the entities. In the CM relationship, the architect involves McCree early on in the designing process to discuss things like construction type, materials and functionality. We have long working relationships with multiple architectural, engineering and consulting firms throughout Central Florida, where we team together early on in a design-build relationship. We have found that with early involvement of the two entities, projects are more likely to be kept on budget and on schedule.
