First home built by W.A. McCree Sr., Autrey residence. Still standing and currently used as a law office.

McCree incorporated by W.A. McCree Sr.
First office built, American Express Building.

1936

W.A. McCree Jr. joins his father as a partner in McCree.

1940

First bank built, First National Bank of Orlando.

1941

W.A. McCree Jr. goes to serve in World War II.

1942

First church built, First Methodist Church.

First job for Central Florida Blood Bank.

1944

First airport construction, Orlando Airlines.

First hospital construction, Orlando General Hospital.

W.A. McCree Jr. returns home from the War.

1946

W.A McCree Jr. becomes CEO and relocates office to Princeton location.

McCree main offices built.

1948

First multistory building.

1950

First school project built, Pinecastle Elementary.

1954

First warehouse built, Robertson Warehouse.

1959

A.G. (Bert) McCree, AIA becomes McCree’s first architect and begins design-build.

1965

First Sports Stadium built: Tangerine Bowl Addition.

1971

Bert McCree becomes President.

First tilt-up project, Ivey’s Distribution Center.

1972

Richard McCree Sr. joins McCree.

1979

W.A. McCree Jr. retires, Bert McCree becomes CEO.

1980

First fire station designed and built.

1981

Largest multi-story office building designed and built by one firm in Orlando, Martin Marietta Data Systems 7-story office building.

1985

Richard T. McCree Sr. named President.

First multi-use retail center designed and built in Orlando, Mercado Festival Marketplace.

1991

First Sound Stage Designed & Built, Chapman Leonard Studios in Orlando.

First co-generation facility designed and built.

1993

Established relationship with First Presbyterian Church of Orlando.

1994

Established relationship with The Golf Channel.

1996

Bert McCree retires.

Richard T. McCree Jr. joins McCree.

1997

McCree creates prototypical school design to ease school overcrowding.

1999

Established relationship with Pineloch Management.

Designed and Built over 1 million square feet.

2000

First veterinary clinic designed and built, Affiliated Veterinary Services.

2001

Richard T. McCree Jr. named President.

2003

First City Hall built, Clermont.

McCree begins work with Physicians Associates.

2005

Richard T. McCree Jr. becomes CEO.

Richard T. McCree Sr. named Chairman.

Cindy McCree-Bodine joins McCree.

2006

McCree acquires wall plant facility.

McCree designs and builds four fire stations.

2007

McCree reaches $75 million in revenue.

2008

5 LEED Accredited Professionals (Richard McCree Jr, Michael Waldrop, Tom Griffin, Alan Jewell, Bill Worrell).

First LEED Certified building, Fire Station #15.

2009

Completed Florida's first LEED-Silver Fire Station for the City of Orlando, Fire Station #7
